Called up on a sunday night to get an out of hours electrician because our fuse blew. The service from stay wired electricians was second to none, the guy called me straight back and was able to resolve our issue with a simple fix over the phone saving us having to pay an out of hours call out fee. I used Stay Wired Electrical for connecting my new spa. This was no small job as they had to connect the power from my main switch board in the front of the house all the way to the back of the yard through a trench where the spa was positioned. I engaged the services of Staywired Electrical and was very impressed with the quality of all aspects of the service. From the first call to book the service the operator was courteous and efficient, took the details and set up a time. The electrician turned up on time and was very professional and “can do” in his attitude. Nothing was too small or too difficult, he made sure that everything was done thoroughly including where my oven was being installed and there was an uneven space he organised it to look straight by spending quite a bit of time solving the problem, and he was very lovely about it.

I am writing to pass on my appreciation to Ed, who has attended our newly purchased property a number of times recently to carry out some electrical work.
Ed is very competent with his work and takes the time to clearly explain the situation and the options available to rectify them, including the final or possible costs.
In one of my recent dealings with him, an unexpected electrical issue arose in the middle of my renovations, where I urgently needed it attended to quickly, to enable the renovations to proceed with minimal delay. I pleaded with Ed to attend asap. Ed replied by rescheduling other planned work and attended my property two days later (even though he had work for other customers planned for a week) to quickly rectify the issue. This allowed me to continue my renovations with only minimal delay.
I will always keep Ed in mind for future electrical work.

Cannot recommend these guys enough after having them around to my new home to check and install new lights and fixtures. They have done quite a bit of inside and outside work for us, from hooking up electric gates and fence lighting outside to rewiring portions of our house where the wiring hae become old and unsafe. The team at Staywired were absolutely wonderful. Specifically I needed a switch board replaced ASAP at my property as my tennant complained of sparks and burning smell. I called Staywire at 1pm and within 2 hours they were at my place. My tennant advised me from then on they were wonderfully courteous, professional and did a very thorough and clean job. High praise from my tennant, especially considering when I had called another electrician earlier in the day which the tennant warned me was not very professional in the way they conducted the initial inspection.

Just moved into our new house which needed some switches fixed, additional powerpoints. We also needed to upgrade the fuse box but was going to leave this till we saved some money . Called the guys in for an initial quote for the sockets abd switched – they ended doing everything including the fuse box on the spot as they gave us confidence they knew exactly what was needed and the quote was alot better than we could hope. Jobs all done same morning, tested and cleaned up after themselves. Very happy and would definitely call them again for any future jobs.

We had been receiving “zaps” from some metal surfaced appliances from multiple outlets and rooms of the apartment. The StayWired guy that came out conducted testing of power sockets and found the junction under the power had a loose earth connection which was causing the fault in the circuit. The problem was fixed and we no longer receive “zaps”.
During the course of finding and fixing the fault, a number of power outlets around the apartment were identified as needing replacement due to cracks and/or loose switches. In addition to the fault find and fix, we also had those power outlets replaced.
Total cost to find and fix the fault in the circuit plus replace four power outlets with modern/better outlets ended up being a little under $500.
The guy was professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly. Overall the experience was good.

We had Ben from Stay Wired Electrical come out and complete some electrical work at Mine and my wifes new apartment. He Updated our downlight from halogen to LED. I had a slight ’emergency’ today and the Technician turned up with 30 minutes….how is that for service?!
The Technician fixed the problem (faulty Fluro) and also discovered that a Safety switch was faulty…so he fixed that as well.
The whole job was completed with the upmost professionalism, extreme courtesy and care.
