Holsworthy was named after a suburb in England, which is where Governor Lachlan Macquarie married Elizabeth Campbell in 1807. It was previously spelt, Holdsworthy, but, after WWII, the ‘d’ was removed. Bass and Flinders, around 1795 explored the area and reported on the rich soils along the river. Not long after, Holsworthy was developed into farms by ex-convicts,free settlers and military men.

We had been receiving “zaps” from some metal surfaced appliances from multiple outlets and rooms of the apartment. The StayWired guy that came out conducted testing of power sockets and found the junction under the power had a loose earth connection which was causing the fault in the circuit. The problem was fixed and we no longer receive “zaps”.
During the course of finding and fixing the fault, a number of power outlets around the apartment were identified as needing replacement due to cracks and/or loose switches. In addition to the fault find and fix, we also had those power outlets replaced.
Total cost to find and fix the fault in the circuit plus replace four power outlets with modern/better outlets ended up being a little under $500.
The guy was professional, friendly, and explained everything clearly. Overall the experience was good.
